Contest FAQS

• How do I enter?
  Enter the contest by filling out the entry form above. Then submit a new or refreshed Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit optimized IoT solution through the Intel® Market Ready Solutions or Intel® RFP Ready Kits programs. The contest runs May 31, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
• Who is eligible?
  This contest is for Intel® partners and distributors who have optimized an IoT solution with the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit and submitted it through either the Intel® Market Ready Solutions or Intel® RFP Ready Kits programs.
• What is included in the prize?
  Each winning company will receive for itself and one guest: coach airfare from the major city nearest the winner’s residence to the reward destination, two-night hotel accommodations, and two dinners.
• Who gets to go on the trip?
  Each company must select a representative to enter the contest and receive the prize. The designated person can bring one guest.
• How will the winners be determined?
  Winners will be determined by the number of deployments of the solution through the program during the contest period. In each region, up to three new solutions and three refreshed solutions with the most deployments during the contest period will be chosen as winners. The regions are the Americas (North, South, & Central America), EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and Asia-Pacific (People’s Republic of China, Asia/Pacific/Japan).
• What do you mean by deployment?
  A deployment is a commitment from an end-user for a paid commercial deployment (based on eligible offerings) of an edge-to-cloud solution, following a successful pilot/trial.
• How will the number of deployments be determined?
  As part of the Intel® Market Ready Solutions and Intel® RFP Ready Kits programs, participating companies are required to submit quarterly deployment tracking which will be reviewed and qualified by Intel.
• What happens if there’s a tie?
  If there is a tie, the winning solution will be determined by the number of deployments plus Intel revenue generated from those deployments. The entry with the highest total will be chosen as the winner.
• What is a new solution?
  A new solution is an IoT solution that was optimized using the latest version of the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit and submitted and approved for the first time to either the Intel® Market Ready Solutions or Intel® RFP Ready Kits programs between May 31, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
• What is a refreshed solution?
  A refreshed solution is an existing Intel® Market Ready Solution or Intel® RFP Ready Kit that you have optimized using the latest version of the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit and are resubmitting to Intel between May 31, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
